The Italifters ES1 is a screw extractor designed to unlock manhole covers that are stuck due to rust, corrosion, or settlement. Instead of risky hammer strikes, the ES1 applies controlled screw tension to safely break the seal, avoiding sparks or damage to the cover. Easy to use: insert the hook, lock it in place, and rotate clockwise with a screwdriver to release the cover by just a few millimetres—then proceed with standard lifting tools.
