Product Function Description

• Electric and hydraulic system
  Electric control system
  The guide rail is equipped with an upper limit switch, a lower limit switch, an encoder, and a luffing sensor. These combined features can detect any hazardous motions that exceed the predefined limits in real time. 
  Hydraulic system
  The hydraulic system incorporates an overflow valve, an unloading valve, and an power-operated main valve. These elements enable the machine to perform designed motions and ensure the operator’s safety at the same time.
  
  
• Carriage
  The carriage, suspended by a lifting wire rope, is fitted with side and front guide rollers, allowing it to smoothly traverse along the guide rail. A load carrying device, carrying the materials for transport, mounts on the carriage and travels with the carriage. The carriage is equipped with a ratchet brake device. When the carriage travels in normal conditions, the lifting wire rope is tensioned and the brake device remains released; in emergency situations, e.g. rope breaks, the brake device activates due to the spring force, and the toothed cam engages with the guide rail, preventing the carriage from falling.
  
  
• Slew turret
  By manipulating the proportional directional control valve, the hydraulic fluid flow direction can be changed, which determines the rotation of the hydraulic motor, and thus enable 360° rotation of the slew turret in both directions. To ensure safety, a balance valve is installed on the hydraulic motor, keeping it securely locked when there is no external operation, thereby preventing any uncontrolled rotation and
  potential hazards. Additionally, there are two articulation points on the slew turret designed for connection to luffing cylinders and guide rail.
  
  
• Luffing cylinder
  The hydraulic system has two luffing cylinders, which lift and lower the guide rail by their extension or retraction motions.
  
  
• Guide rail
  The guide rail is comprised of 8 trusses with progressively decreasing dimensions. This design allows each of the 8 trusses to interlock layer by layer. Two winches are installed on the outermost layer of the guide rail. One winch controls the extension of the guide rail, and the other controls the lifting of the carriage. Both winches are equipped with brakes, which, in the absence of external operations, can keep the winches stationary. Additionally, in the event of motor failure, the brakes ensure safety.
