Spider 39T

The Spider 39T was created following the enormous success of its “big brother”, the Spider 43T, launched by the Reggio Emilia company a few years ago. Like the 43-metre platform, it is a telescopic boom model equipped with a jib. Platform Basket decided to design a new platform inspired by this successful model, allowing rental companies to maintain similar equipment in their fleets. This results in streamlined operator training and simplified machine servicing.

Like all Platform Basket Spider tracked self-propelled platforms in the 12- to 43-metre range, the Spider 39T is equipped with extendible crawler tracks and intuitive controls. This aerial platform is extremely stable while remaining easy to transport. Its compact size makes it ideal for work in narrow spaces, such as tree cutting and pruning, maintenance, painting, and any other height-related job difficult to access with a standard lift.

Thanks to its rubber tracks, the Spider 39T can manoeuvre effortlessly in confined or hard-to-reach areas. Sturdy stabilizers ensure outstanding stability and safety while working at height. The platform’s 39-metre working height makes it particularly suitable for telecommunications and power line applications. Its technical features and lifting capacity are very similar to those of the 43T.

Equally important is Platform Basket’s long-standing commitment to environmental care. The Spider 39T uses combustion engines that comply with the latest emission regulations and can be fitted with Lithium-ion power batteries, allowing emission-free operation in any environment. All new Platform Basket designs also support the use of lifting winches, increasing machine versatility. With its Plug & Play concept, the small interchangeable winch can be swapped with the basket in just a few minutes, transforming the platform into a radio-controlled hoist for lifting light loads.
